Okay, so a while back I decided I was going to write a book. The book is about a female serial killer named Veronica Ricks. I thought I would post the first chapter here, and see what you guys think. :) Enjoy.

Chapter 1
"White walls. Why do they have to paint all doctors’ offices with that cornea-blinding white?" Erika Kerrigan was in the doctor’s office for the sixth time this year. Shaking her head and rubbing her temples, Erika hated being in the doctor’s office, let alone when she didn’t have a head splitting migraine. She had been sitting in the waiting room for what seemed like hours, waiting, sitting, waiting some more, and reading as many magazines as she possibly could to pass the time before the migraine made her shut down. My chair must have a permanent imprint of my ass, Erika thought as she shifted in her chair. At a stunning six feet, red-headed Erika stood out from the rest of the people in the waiting room. She scanned from her left to her right, taking in her surroundings and analyzing them to pass the time. Erika was situated on the back wall, with the door where the nurses called patients into exam rooms on her left. Next to the door, on the left facing wall, was a counter with a sliding glass door where patients checked in. Erika smiled as the heavy-set nurse behind the counter looked up through her inch-thick glasses at her, giving her the "Why are you staring at me?" look. Erika chuckled to herself a little bit, and continued to move around the room. Next to the patient check-in window was a slew of medical information signs talking about medication, how to properly wash your hands, and one had a diagram of the human brain and skull. On the wall facing Erika was the big wooden door that led out of the doctor’s office to the parking lot. To the right of the door, in the middle of the wall facing Erika and the wall to the right of her, was an outcrop that housed a bathroom. From the bathroom wall all the way to where Erika was sitting was just a row of about nine chairs that lined the wall. Right as Erika stared out the window to the gloomy post-storm sky, a burst of sunlight came through the window. Erika winced and shut her eyes to protect her already sensitive corneas. "Erika Kerrigan?" said a female voice to the left of Erika. She slightly opened her eyes to see the fuzzy shape of a nurse holding a chart. Erika grunted as she lifted her now-asleep ass off the chair she had called home for the past two hours. She entered through the door, and was met by such extremely bright lights that she felt like she was on the surface of the sun. The nurse showed her into an exam room, and Erika rushed in to sit on the closest flat surface she could. "I see you’re here for a migraine…" the nurse whispered after flipping through Erika’s chart. "Muuuhuh," Erika grunted as she looked at the nurse. The nurse was a tall and slender brunette with green eyes. The nurse walked over and shut off the lights in the exam room to help Erika have some relief. "I’ll send in Dr. Lukai right away", the nurse said as she quickly opened the door to the hallway, trying to let in as little light as possible. Erika grunted in approval and sat back in her chair. "At least it’s quiet in here", Erika said. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Erika was jolted back from her relaxed state and winced. She reached down to her belt and grabbed her pager. She squinted to read the letters on the blue backlight. "Computer problems. We need you here ASAP! –Angie" "Shit, why now?!" Erika swore as a sudden bright light came from the hallway. "Ahhh!" she said as she sheltered her eyes from the hallway light. An older man with a beard and white lab coat appeared in the doorway, quickly shutting the door behind him to let in a small beam of light so he could see. "Hi, Dr. Lukai. I’m sorry, but I have to go, there’s an emergency at the office." Erika said as she got up. "Alright, but let me give you a prescription for Imitrex, it’s like Tylenol on steroids!" The doctor said as he got out his prescription pad from his coat pocket. "Alright." Erika said as she snatched the paper from the doctor’s hands and headed out the door. "Wait!" said Dr. Lukai grabbing for Erika. "Yes?" she said. Dr. Lukai grabbed something from his coat pocket and handed it to Erika. Erika looked at it; it was a pair of large and goofy sunglasses. Erika smiled and slipped them on as she headed out the door. After picking up her prescription at the drug store, Erika popped one of her pills in the car on the way to her work. "Now on to the next crisis in my life." Erika said as she pulled up to the parking garage for her office building, looking at the clock in her car that read 9:54 PM. She was the CEO of a controversial insurance company that had taken over most of the smaller insurance companies in her area. As Erika pulled up to the parking garage gate, she noticed that there was no one in the guard booth to let her in. She scanned from left to right, looking for a phone, but with no luck. She glanced to her left as a woman wearing a black hat and sunglasses appeared next to her car and knocked on the driver’s side window, prompting Erika to roll down her window. "Yes?" Erika said over the whurr of her still descending window. "Hey. I tried to get in already, but with no luck. I’m parked up there so I don’t block traffic," the woman said, pointing up to the outline of a black car parked about one hundred feet up the road. "Ok. No one came to let you in?" Erika said as she put her Mercedes in reverse. "Nope. All of the security guards are probably upstairs watching football and drinking beer," the woman said. "Ha ha ha! Probably!" Erika said as she rolled up her window and began to slowly back out of the driveway for the parking structure. "You can go up and park behind me, we can walk to the front of the building together." The woman said loudly as Erika backed up. Erika nodded and drove up, parking behind the black car. She passed the woman on her way up and waited for her to arrive before Erika got out of her car. About 30 seconds later, Erika saw the woman appear about 10 feet away, so she turned off her car and opened her door. She could hear the woman’s shoes getting closer and closer behind her as she turned around to lock her door. Right when she spun around to lock her door, she felt something wrap around her neck, putting pressure on her throat. Erika struggled to catch her breath as she clawed at the thin piece of wire that was cutting into her throat. Failing to pry the wire from her throat, Erika began to fight off the person who was holding the wire. She began to flail her arms, move her head, and squirm as much as possible to try and fend off her attacker. She noticed that she had succeeded in knocking off the attacker hat and glasses, but that did little good for the situation Erika was in. With each movement, she began to feel even more lightheaded and dizzy. Erika could see black splotches fill her field of vision as she was still gasping to catch even the littlest breath of air. With each movement, she could feel the wire go deeper and deeper into her neck. The adrenaline kicked in and Erika began to kick, grab, or punch anything she could, but to no avail. She felt the muscles in her legs begin to weaken, which caused her to collapse as if her legs were made of straw. She rolled a little bit as she fell, seeing flashes of white light as her body began to feel like it was floating away. Right when Erika felt her body go numb, she felt the pressure on her neck disappear. Now on her back, Erika could see who was trying to kill her. She glanced at the person before she began to lose consciousness, squinting to see and identify the fuzzy shape standing over her. Erika’s eyes became wide when she recognized and remembered the person from the doctor’s office. "I….I…" Erika said as she could feel herself slipping away. "Still have that migraine?" the woman asked. Erika tried to answer but her body went limp and she lost consciousness. "My name is Veronica Ricks, RN. You can call me Ronnie."

So I went out last night with a friend of mine. We went to Best Buy to look for laptops, and well, I found one that my mom is going to get me for Christmas. While I was there, I was walking around and looking at the different games and software they had there. I saw some PC games like Black Ops and such, no biggie. Then, on a shelf by itself, I see it. Sony Vegas 9. A bunch of red stickers all over it marking it down and everything. I ended up getting it for like $40. Which is amazingly good compared to the $150-200 they normally are. I haven't loaded it up on my computer yet, so I won't know how good it is until later on today.

School ends tomorrow, woohoo. I have 3 exams all next week, but then I'm done until the Spring semester starts. :D

Anyways, My mom decided to take away all my stuff because of some...misunderstanding. No headset, no controller, no Xbox. Nothing. I'm working on getting it back but who knows how long that's going to take. I don't like to play Steam games without m controller because when I click it back to Gamepad: Disabled, it gets rid of all the keys I have binded, and all my custom settings for the controller. I don't remember them all, and I really don't want to mess with that's that. My Steam rating is shit. haha Whatevs. I've been playing Minecraft recently, so that's great. A game I really don't need a controller for. lol
So yeah.
You're updated.

OMG. I haz Minecraft!

So yes, I play Minecraft. I just uploaded my first Minecraft video yesterday, and it looks purrrty cool. I have another video coming of me exploring a big ass cave I found on single player. I might even upload some videos of me, Dino, Tate, and Hal playing...who knows. Minecraft is a great game, I tend to play it on peaceful, though. Just because I hate having to hide in my house at night and not being able to do anything. Not only that, but Creepers are pervs.

but anywhoo, keep looking for some Minecraft videos. I was really pissed that my CrOwned video footage got deleted. I had some pretty epic CrOwns in there.
:( Oh well, I guess I have to re-record thanks to my video editor being a fag. Hooray for shitty Mircosoft products. >.<
Well, I'm off for now.
Toodles! :D

Oh hai

Sooo...haven't really written in a while. I've brought out some new videos, destroyed some new trolls, and even had some time left to play Resident Evil 5. :D It's getting really busy at school now with essays being assigned and final projects that are due. I don't know how much time I'm going to have to play the next couple weeks, but winter break is shortly after that so we're talking about a full month of gaming. Woohoo. I've kind of drifted away from Xbox, which does make me sad...I miss all my friends on Xbox, but there is just so much more to do on PC and I've fallen in love with Fraps. It's so much easier for me to record and I don't have to fiddle with any sound settings. I still check Xbox, but I really don't play Left 4 Dead on it anymore. I haven't played versus in almost 2 weeks. Scoot has a night job now (as well as he started playing Black Ops), Nike is working a lot and plays with his Gamebattle buddies now, I'm focusing on school, and Josh has nobody really to play with anymore. I guess we've all gotten lives. I am glad I still get to talk to my baby on Skype, though. :) I still get random friend requests on Xbox from fans, and I breaks my heart I have to tell them that I don't play on Xbox anymore. If I do play on Xbox, I would only play with Scoot, Nike, or Dino. I just don't have time to play with other people. It sucks, but it's just the way it is.

I has Fraps!

Thanks to a generous donation by Tate, I now have Fraps on my computer. It's so fucking beast. Instead of having to edit and screw around with the sound settings on Xbox, I just start Fraps and everything is already recorded for me.'s just so beautiful. Once I figure out how to get my Livestream up and running, I might be livestreaming...but who knows. For now, I guess Xbox recordings are the way to go.
I do have a couple new videos up right now, check them out at my channel:
My favorite is the Scatman Infected. XD

Thanks again, Tate. Even if I started off as a crazy fan chick (so you say), I'd like to say you're my friend now. :D

So I'll see how to start livestreaming and I will hopefully be able to. You guys can watch me get lost numerous times on custom maps...or even hear me eat cake while playing Portal. :D
Keep and eye out! I'll have any updates on here or on my YouTube channel.

Graphics FTW and FTL

I got my graphics card in the mail today. At about 2PM. After some head scratching, tech support from Tate, YouTube videos, a lot of Googleing, and more tech support from Tate; I FINALLY got the fucking card into my computer. The instructions in the booklet that came with the card read:

1) Locate the slot. Inster the card firmly into the PCI-Express/AGP/PCI slot.
2) Plug the display cable into the VGA card.

I'm computer challenged. I don't know what the FUCK a PCI-express slot is, let alone where it is or how to get to it. So yeah, the instructions were a joke to someone like me who has no idea WTF I'm doing. I opened up my computer after like 2 hours of trying to figure out how to open the damn thing, to find a buncha lights and shiny stuff.I couldn't figure out how to slide the card in there, because it seemed to be blocked by this metal bit on the side. I didn't know that you had to unscrew one of the metal bits and slide the graphics card into it. Yep. Technology FAIL on my part.
But hey, at least I know how to use a screw driver. :D

So I got everything hooked up and installed and I quickly flipped on Left 4 Dead. It was beautiful. My FPS was higher than like 5, and the color was amazing. No more weird fog, or strange black holes around fire! Woohoo! I played through 2 campaigns with Tate and friends, and I had a blast. :D I'm happy that everything worked out okay. lol

BUT...Now I have to get a gaming keyboard. :\

Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Just got out of a game with Tate and a few of his friends. I had a lot of fun. ^_^ My FPS was horrible, as usual. Only one more day until I get my graphics card, I hope. But yeah, so school has finally slowed down a little bit, which leaves me with some down time. I ordered a new graphics card for my PC (obviously) so I can play Left 4 Dead with a FPS higher than like 2. Once I get that, I'm probably going to need a gaming keyboard. Hooray. I might just cheat and use my Xbox 360 controller as my keyboard. :3 Who knows. Right now, I only have my left hand on the W, E, and R keys. Walk forward, use, and reload. The top 3 that I need. Oh, and I have my thumb on my space bar. But yeah...running away from Tanks while shooting doesn't happen. Since I can't move side to side and backwards without looking down at my keyboard, I have to manuver using the mouse and try and get around obstacles. Not the ideal gaming setup. I might play around with the keys and get it so I can move backward and side to side better, but I don't know. far as binding keys and using the console commands, I can do that...but when it comes to going into the Left 4 Dead folders and editing and adding stuff...I don't know how to do half the stuff people talk about.I have no idea what a .CFG file is. I always thought I had a pretty good know-how when it came to computers, but trying to understand what these guys talk about is just impossible. I need a translator. hahaha I haven't played PC Left 4 Dead in over a year...I'm very rusty with everything. I feel like a noob I have to re-learn everything. I just don't want to bother people by asking themto help me remember how to do everything on PC. :\

Drawing Attack

So...about a week ago I had a drawing attack. I decided to start drawing and coloring random things. I decided to draw Pokemon. Hahaha Maybe having a flashback to elementary school? Who knows. Hope you like 'em!

Lone Gunman Mutation

So I was playing The Sacrifice on PC yesterday when I noticed something...The Tank...uhhh...let me just have you watch this to explain it. :)

I uploaded the Hunting Party Mutation video last night. I woke up this morning to find that it actually uploaded! :O Wow. Maybe YouTube is going to stop being so retarded for me. But yeah, this mutation is very fun...but glitchy as hell. You'll see what happened to me and my boyfriend at the end of it. lawl Enjoy!

Been a while!

So, school got a little crazy with midterms this week, sorry I haven't been around. I uploaded a couple new videos, some Left 4 Dead, some not. My 2 favorites by far are the Perv Tank and my Left 4 Dead funny pictures. I know there's no music on the funny Left 4 Dead pictures, I might upload it again with music, I'm not sure. WMG always shits on all my videos. lol
Perv Tank:

Funny Left 4 Dead pictures:

I have a few videos to upload, like the Hunting Pary mutation (which is all edited, just waiting to be uploaded), and some Portal Highlights. played Dead Rising 2 yesterday. I died. A lot. Kept getting nomnomed. I can never get used to that 3rd person view. :/

So yeah, that's my update I guess. Look for some videos coming out soon!

100th Video

Okies. I have one more video to upload that I recorded of the Left 4 Dead 2 version of The Sacrifice. Then I'm done. That will make 97 videos. I want to make my 100th video a special video, but I need some help. Do you guys have any ideas for what I can do for my 100th video? If so, leave me a comment on here, or on my YouTube Channel. :)

The Sacrifice!

I went to bed last night without having played The Sacrifice. I woke up this morning to see it was available. I started the download and headed off to school. I got all ready to play it when I got home, I was so exited. And it wasn't a dissapointment. I really love the new DLC, and there are a lot of funny/awesome things that happen. There are still a few bugs in it, but it's still a great campaign. I played all three parts of the map...Left 4 Dead's The Sacrifice campaign and Left 4 Dead 2's The Sacrifice and No Mercy campaigns. I am editing video right now, so I'm hoping to have it up tonight or tomorrow. My overall rating is 4.5 out of 5 stars. :)

Earth to Valve!

I got up this morning at 8AM, expecting to see advertisements for The Sacrifice on the Xbox 360 dashboard. No such luck. It's almost 2PM here, and the DLC hasn't even been advertised to come out yet. The released Part 4 of the comic in the UK (I had to get the direct link from my boyfriend because it still shows it as not available in the US)...and I read it. It's so epic. Bill is a fucking BAD ASS. Now, we're all awaiting the release of The Sacrifice. Come on, Valve! Don't keep us waiting!!!!

Bulletins Not Working

For anyone who reads my blog, I'm having trouble posting bulletins on my YouTube profile. For some reason, it won't post them and it just gets stuck loading until the webpage times out. Hooray.

So, this is my bulletin. The Sacrifice is coming out tomorrow, and I can't wait. It's going to be awesome. I'm downloading both DLC's for Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. I'm obviously going to be playing the Left 4 Dead 2 DLC first, and those videos will be uploaded first. I'm going to be having a lot of editing and recording to do, so bear with me. I'll try to get the videos out as soon as possible.
Toodles! :)

The Sacrifice

So everyone knows that the Sacrifice is coming out on Tuesday. I read on the Left 4 Dead blog that it's 540 Microsoft points for each package. I know there is the new map The Sacrifice and there's No Mercy for Left 4 Dead 2...but when they said package, do they mean that it's 540 MP for each map? Or is it 540 per package of the two maps? I know it said it's coming out for Left 4 Dead 1 and 2...but is there a difference between the DLC's for both games? They really didn't answer any of the questions on the website. This is what they posted on the blog:

“The Sacrifice” campaign for Left 4 Dead 1 is coming!
“The Sacrifice” and “No Mercy” campaigns for Left 4 Dead 2 are coming!

So if you download The Sacrifice on Left 4 Dead 1, you won't get No Mercy with Left 4 Dead 2 infected, weapons, ect...? Why would anyone want to download it? Why pay the same amount for two campaign that you would for 1? But, anyways. I'm going to download it and play it as soon as it comes out. I'm going to run through it with my boyfriend, and upload the footage to YouTube that night. Then, after that's all said and done, I'm going to get started on Achievement videos. I'm going to make a whole new set of videos called "Got Achievements?" that will be a collection of How-To guides for achievements in the games I play. It's not going to be as broad as RoosterTeeth or anything, but it will hopefully help some of my viewers. :)
I found a list of Achievements for The Sacrifice:
Supreme Sacrifice- Complete "The Sacrifice"
Kill Bill- Have Bill sacrifice himself for the team.
Chaos Generator- Have all 3 generators running at once in "The Sacrifice" finale.
Sacrifizzle- As a Special Infected, incap someone who is trying to sacrifice themselves.
Barrel Rolled- Kill a Special Infected with an exploding barrel

My Bill Tribute

I guess this is hello! I created this blog so my YouTube fans, and potential YouTube fans, can see what goes into creating the videos. I'll talk about how I record, some funny stories about the people I meet on Xbox Live, and I'll post my new videos here as well.
I hope you guys enjoy the blog and subscribe to me.
